Look for the Good in people!

My 457-b investment options are minimal. 10 mutual stock funds to choose from. And varies safer funds. I can't find a web site to to monitor intraday quotes. Does anyone have a good web site? I used to be able to track mutual funds on CNBC's web site a number of years ago. Of the 10 mutual funds offered I'd like to pick the top four funds, one being foreign. Also, does anyone have a good strategy on picking stock funds. The charts, for the most part stay in line with each other. I'd like to find a good web site for DD.

Thanks John

I did a search for Mutual funds and this was primarily the only one to return. I have just taken over managing my mothers 401K portfolio. I had a similar issue also. What I did was get the mutual fund ticker and promptly proceed to stockcharts.com. I was crippled by the monthly chart option from the 401K site. After doing some research I settle on a fully vested option into the Fidelity Diversified International Fund (FIGRX) I will list the investment options available below.

Fidelity OTC Portfolio
FOCPX

Fidelity Diversified International Fund
FIGRX

FBR Small Cap CL A
FBRVX

Fidelity Disciplined Equity Fund
FDEQX

Fidelity Growth Company Fund
FDGRX

Fidelity Magellan Fund
FMAGX

Goldman Sachs Small Cap Value Fund Institutional Class
GSSIX

Morgan Stanley Institutional Fund, Inc. Large Cap Relative Value Portfolio Class A
MSIVX

Vanguard Mid-Cap Index Inv CL
VIMSX

Vanguard Institutional Index Institutional Class
VINIX

Looking through the charts and economy I opted for the one above. Any input on my decision would be appreciated. As I see it the retrace happened followed by a some "flat" trading activity. I know this is all relative as these are mutual funds. I am sure similar TA goes along with these though. It looks as if it is about to bust the 50 RSI and move on up slowly as mutual funds do. Chat is posted below.
