Sure, read the first post of this thread ... damn it, I forgot to put it on the Trades thread, Ramsburg used to do that but he's on vacation, I'm so sorry Lips Sealed

Ok, fortunately GOAM is more or less the same price I sold, which was $8.23. Let me put it on the trades thread, thanks for the reminder, sorry for this.

Yep, but I don't like SUF, read my take two days ago: http://www.3stocksonfire.com/trading/index.php?topic=8839.msg86462#msg86462

Besides today the candlestick pattern is a thrusting pattern, which is a bearish continuation pattern.

I think you have a good call on Brlc. What we see is totally a short squeeze.$2% of the float was shorted as of jan 9th.12000000 stocks approx we seen 4000000+ vol yesterday 5 mil. + today one more day of covering and we will probably be done.Earnings on the 8th.My guess is that the guidance will be not as good because of the profit margins.

FBP up over 8% on high volume.

Doesn't fit the criteria. Market cap > $800 M

Nice rebound play. It might run until the first resistance at $2. It looks cheap, but for a good reason, losing too much money because its not competitive enough against Wal Mart and others.

I could buy it, but it would be against the trend, and I can't betray that good old friend of mine.

Thanks for the suggestion though Smiley

Sorry didnt have complete info on the market cap and number of shares in float. I saw it was trading in the 12s and assumed it may be 500mill cap or lower.

Hi - Let's try not to waste David's time with stocks that are not within the scope of the portfolio.  ADM and ICE are both multi billion MC companies, and ADM for one, is definitely not on fire today.  I suggest we all reread the FAQ and suggest stocks that fit the criteria!

We're going for short term explosions here from small cap companies!

GLTA

You know you may be right but ADM was on fire yesterday and maybe by putting some of these stocks out here, they could be put to use in the main portfolio. ICE has more than doubled in 6 months with no signs on stopping and would be awesome for the main portfolio but it is also expensive too but he could just ignore it. I really don't care. Just takes seconds to ignore someones post and could have been just as easy for you to do the same. I have owned ICE since June 06 and I am not complaining in the least. Holding this sucker long term. If this hasn't been on fire, I don't know what has.

Hi Lance - Didn't mean to get you riled up there, but me being able to ignore the post or not isn't the point.  I know David will be more than happy to spend his time with your requests, but since they don't fit in this portfolio, we're essentially wasting his time that could be spent on more...fitting companies.

I didn't mean to single you out either, there have been a multitude of requests everyday that are not quite what we're looking for, and I just wanted to point this out.

However, I still don't think we should mix ICE with FIRE  Grin

Sorry, I was just trying to make a contribution but forgot the rules of the 3SOF so I do thank you for the reminder. ICE still might make a good pick for the MAIN though. You are right....when you mix ICE with FIRE, it melts.  Sad
