What do you think of IVAN david?

IVAN = Too much market cap & losses for too little sales. I would sell on any rally if I had it, so I can't buy today.

ZAAP is rising a lot, but that's due to a stock dividend, I couldn't think of a more stupid reason for a stock to advance.

Why? Because the 10% stock dividend increases the share count by 10%, so obviously the stock will go down 10% to reflect the dividend.

In this case it will go more than that, because it has been moving up due to that dividend ... it's incredible how people are attracted by dividends, when they don't give anyone money. Even Buffet hates dividends.

Less than 500M MC and 5% or better

ALLT
AMIS
DMRC
EVCC (Scary)
FIX
YTBL.PK (Looks interesting)

ALLT: Volume < 300 K shares traded
AMIS: Market cap is $1 B
DMRC: Volume < 300 K shares traded
FIX: Volume < 300 K shares traded
YTBL.PK: Pink Sheets not accepted, just NYSE, Nasdaq, AMEX and OTCBB, please read the FAQ.

Thanks for your suggestions Smiley

Got it. Didn't know of the 300K requirment. These were all above 150K. I'll take another swing at it.

BTW I am another very happy CPNE owner thanks to your analysis...

Lol one stock on fire Tongue, SILC is doing good as well. Just GOAM was a little sour lost -4% on that but the SILC and CPNE gains nullify that lol.

David, I appreciate that you don't rush into stocks just to fill the portfolio.  If you only have 2 stocks you like today then that is fine.  We have many many days ahead of us to turn your $15,000 into $150,000!  Please don't settle for any stock that you don't absolutely love because with 11,000 out there you will find them eventually, with patience.  Great job, and this is a great learning experience!

There are anly 14 stocks out there today that meet your criterion most are Biotech

How about MSPD?

That is the only one that sticks out.

Bought AVZA on dip at 5.99. It's back to 6.10.

It might be a good idea ... the best I've seen today. Let me make some comments on it.

Technically the stock almost touched its all time high of $6.56 today. It is doing a breakaway gap above the $5.24 resistance level, though. 9% above the opening price, I like that.

Fundamentally:

- Market cap is $96.9 M. The Company designs, manufactures, sells and supports advanced semiconductor capital equipment and process technologies for the global semiconductor industry and related markets.
- Balance sheet is acceptable
- Revenue trend is positive and accelerating
- EPS reported today for the fiscal Q1 2007 was $0.07. Good, but EPS for the fiscal Q4 2006 was $0.14, so net profit margin declined by a lot, even though revenues rose.

Today's rally would be more sound if it happened after fiscal Q4 results than today. There are mixed fundamental signals.

So, it can rise some more, but there are doubts, when people over the weekend make some calculus, perhaps they will come to sell on Monday.

Not a sure thing, unfortunately.

Good luck Rudy Smiley

Thanks. Looks like this exercise will pick up on Monday. There were only 14 stocks in the 3 major exchanges that fit the profile per my Prophet.net scan.

Hi gix330 Smiley

Don't you even dare selling CPNE.OB before earnings. Just sit tight and let the profits run, you won't get all that many chances to get a fat profit. MT? What's that? (sorry, I'm a foreigner)

BHE? Please request an analysis on that one on another day, not on fire today, and market cap is already $1.4 B, so, too big for the 3 Stocks on Fire Portfolio.
