Bearish wolfewave on the VIX?

I'm watching for a possible head and shoulder pattern on the hourly chart.

Looking more and more like a gap up on friday for the SPX.

Breaking away from the descending trend line of the daily chart?

I was fiddling with the moving averages and find the 30sma interesting for the DPX daily chart. ( I usually use 200sma,50sma, and 8ema).

I ususally use RSI2 but for this chart, I used RSI14.

This chart shows RSI14 just recently went above 50 (a signal for swing traders to go long) and is still above 50 so far.

MACD showing positive (bullish) divergence.

VIX closed below the green uptrend line and sitting right at the peach uptrend line
point 1 = 44.25
point 2 = 50.50

It looks to have used the peach descending trendline and has not exceeded the high of 58.91 (Dec 10 candle with a low of 53.79).

910 and/or 940 target on the SPX seems to be in consensus with Dan's analysis.

880.16 was exceeded:

http://messages.finance.yahoo.com/Stocks_%28A_to_Z%29/Stocks_U/threadview?m=te&bn=58157&tid=228126&mid=228126&tof=12&frt=1#228126

Daily SPX Charts and some Intermediate market projections (by Daneric40):

Attached is my annotation of the 1 minute and 5 minute charts of the SPX:

Would it be possible that 741.02 low on the SPX daily chart is already wave 5 (used a 20year/daily setting to get the big picture).

Here's a possible sideway movement on the SPX daily chart if the rtl (of a possible ascending triangle that seems to be forming on the hourly chart) breaks:

Here is a possible impulse 1 with abc corrections on the SPX daily chart (zoomed in 20 year/daily chart setting):

Here's a thread that I started at the yahoo message board:

Bearish wolfewave on the VIX?

I'm watching for a possible head and shoulder pattern on the hourly chart.

http://messages.finance.yahoo.com/Stocks_%28A_to_Z%29/Stocks_U/threadview?m=te&bn=58157&tid=197180&mid=197180&tof=8&frt=2

It's interesting to see that price bounced off the blue line (bearish wolfewave target?) on November 28, 2008 to a high of December 1, 2008.

Friday's low (December 19, 2008) of 41.29 traded below the daily swing low/middle M of 44.25 ( November 4, 2008).

VIX is approaching support areas at:

37.50 = August 16, 2007 high

37.57 = January 22, 2008 high

and getting close to the blue line again.

Will it break below the 37's (because of the middle M break) or will it bounce on the 37's support zone?

Thread started on the yahoo SKF board titled: "VIX support approaching"
